The Bible
The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God. They are true, sufficient, and the final rule for all we believe and do.
Doctrine
What we believe
The Bible is our final authority for faith and life. We also hold the 1689 London Baptist Confession as a clear summary of biblical teaching. It does not replace Scripture. It helps us teach, guard, and live the truth together.
First things
The gospel
We believe that God created all things good, that humanity fell into sin, and that the only hope for sinners is Jesus Christ. The eternal Son of God became man, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again on the third day.
Salvation is God's gift, by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. All people are called to repent and believe the gospel. Those who trust in Christ are forgiven, made new, and kept by God for eternal life.
Truths we hold
These are not a full systematic theology. They are central convictions that shape our preaching, worship, and life together.

The Triune God
There is one living and true God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is eternal, holy, sovereign, and worthy of all worship.

Salvation by grace
We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by our works. God invites all people to turn from sin and trust in Christ alone.

The local church
Christ builds His church as baptized believers walk together in worship, discipleship, care, and mission under qualified elders and deacons.

Baptism and the Lord's Supper
Baptism is a public sign that a believer belongs to Jesus. The Lord's Supper remembers His death until He comes. Both are given by Christ to His church.

Mission and hope
We proclaim the gospel to our neighbors, seek the good of Siquijor, and wait for the return of Jesus, when He will make all things new.
The 1689 Confession
We are a confessional Baptist church. The Second London Baptist Confession of Faith (1689) helps us stay rooted in the historic Christian faith and in Baptist convictions drawn from Scripture.

What it is

We baptize believers and share the Lord's Supper as a church family under elder care.

We pray, encourage one another, practice care and accountability, and seek to disciple the next generation.
